Baroque Jewels are true masterpieces of Portuguese Goldsmithing, shaped and finished by hand in a century-old workshop in the north of Portugal, by experienced artisans.

Mastery in Every Detail

The "bulgy" look of these pieces creates an impressive visual impact, conveying the image of heavy objects, although they are extraordinarily light. Each set is made up of hollow pieces with delicate floral motifs, molded in fine silver plate through an artisanal process that preserves ancient traditions.

Careful hammering with a soft wooden hammer on antique bronze dies, dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, highlights the details of the relief. After molding, the pieces are filed, polished on a grinding stone and their edges are smoothed.

A special touch is added with the application of colored enamel, which further highlights the unique beauty of each of these pieces. After applying the enamel, the jewelry goes through a cleaning process, "soaping" to remove dirt and grease, followed by a "patina" to create the characteristic deep contrasts.

Each piece is then delicately "burnished", giving them the shine that captures the essence of Baroque Jewelry. Each piece is an authentic expression of Traditional Portuguese Goldsmithing, made in 925 Sterling Silver.
